Olympic Trials and Father's Day

We can hardly believe that June is almost over. The summer is flying by. We have had the chance to do some fun things already. Last weekend we went to Virginia to visit Jeremy (Karl's cousin) and Rebecca and their family. Eric (Jeremy's brother) and his kids were visiting from Idaho. We also got to see their daughter, Hannah, play in a couple of her all-star softball games. We always enjoy time with them. Unfortunately we forgot the camera, so we have no pictures of that trip. For Christmas, Amanda received 2 tickets to the Gymnastics Olympic Trials in Philadelphia June 20th and 22nd. Mom went with her on the first day and Dad got to go for the second day. It was a very exciting experience. We were able to sit with several other members of her team.

At the end of the competition they covered the floor and the gymnasts with confetti.

Karl had a great Father's day. Amanda set up a treasure hunt for him to find his gifts.
