School's (almost) Out for Summer!

Just four more days of school and the kids could not be more excited. Actually we're all pretty excited. We could use some downtime. Our summer schedule is pretty packed, but it should be fun. Karl's shutdown at work is finally winding down. He spent the whole weekend with us. What a treat! Here are some pictures of some of our May adventures.

Amanda went to the Maryland State meet. She did well. We are proud of her accomplishments this season. (She is the one with the French braid.)

Trevor hated the bath for about the first 5 months. Now he loves the water.

Kurtis looks awesome in his visor. He sneaked outside Sunday afternoon to take a spin on his tricycle.

We took a quick trip to Utah for Oma's (Karl's maternal grandmother) funeral. While there, we celebrated Jake's 7th birthday with some bowling fun and cake. It was also Jeremy's (Karl's cousin) birthday. (We forgot our camera. The pictures from the disposable are not as crisp.)
