Fun with Family

We enjoyed lots of company in July. We had visitors the entire month. First up was Grandma Fails. She stayed with us for 2 weeks. She stayed with the kids while Karl and I went to Aruba. Next up was Grandpa and Grandma John and Cousin Tanner and Julie. Before they left, Matt and Joanne and their family came. In August, Jennifer came out for a few days. We were able to go to Philadelphia with her. We really enjoy spending time with our extended family. Thank you to all who took the time to come and see us!

We took a short trip over to Lancaster County, PA to Amish country. We enjoyed a tour on an Amish carriage.

After the tour, we went over to the village to browse the shops.

The first game of Karl and Matt's mini baseball tour was the Orioles. We invited all of our family and close friends that live nearby. We had 26 in our group including Grandpa and Grandma John, Julie and Tanner, Grandma Fails, Matt and Joanne and their girls, Jerry and Danae, the Goeckeritz family (Karl's cousin), and Jenni and Ed Guzman. We even got our name up on the JumboTron "Welcome Fails Family and Friends."

Trevor is so cute that he and I made the Jumbotron during the 7th inning stretch.

The next game on the tour was in Philadelphia. Since the Phillies were playing the Braves, Grandpa and Julie stayed for it. They even went really early to catch batting practice. The last game on their tour was the Nationals in Washington DC.
