Smithsonian Museum/ Mt. Vernon
On our way to Williamsburg, we stopped in Washington DC to visit the Smithsonian National Musuem of Natural History. The boys loved all of the animals, especially the dinosaurs. I loved seeing the 45.52-carat Hope Diamond and the other gems.
We also spent some time out at Mount Vernon, the estate of George and Martha Washington.
