Labor Weekend Fun in Baltimore

Labor Day weekend was full of fun activities. The kids had Friday off from school. Saturday we met up with the Goeckeritz Family in Baltimore. We were able to tour a ship and submarine (I sat out with Trevor), and we all went to the Baltimore Aquarium. It was a lot of fun. Our kids really enjoy time spent together.

The USS Constellation is docked at Inner Harbor.




While touring the USS Constellation, they were able to see a cannon fired. This ship was used during the Civil War to capture slave ships.


After touring the USS Torsk submarine the kids stopped for a picture.

"The National Aquarium in Baltimore houses sharks, dolphins, rays and tropical fish among the more than 16,000 creatures in naturalistic exhibits, including a walk-through rain forest, an exciting live-action dolphin show and a new Australian exhibit."

We always enjoy a dolphin show. They are truly amazing and beautiful!

On Labor Day, we went to an end-of-year pizza party at the pool where we are members. We enjoyed one last dip in the pool, food and games. That evening we went to a barbecue at the Taylor's, a new family in our ward. They invited several families. We had a great time, but, sorry, no pictures to prove it!
